About

I’m a human population geneticist developing statistical methods to better understand the effects of genetic variants on fertility traits and meiotic fidelity. I am currently a postdoctoral fellow in the McCoy Lab at Johns Hopkins University. My broader research interests span theoretical and applied population genetics.

Previously, I was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Oxford in the group of Pier Palamara and also worked as a computational biologist at a biotechnology startup.

I received my PhD in Human Genetics from the University of Chicago working with John Novembre. My PhD research focused on developing new theory to understand population genetic datasets under different spatial and temporal sampling designs, alongside a number of empirical population genetic projects to understand human demographic history.
